Dr Jenny Lloyd, PHIRST EMPower Qualitative Research Lead

Jenny’s role in NIHR PHIRST EMPower is to provide expertise in research design, logic model development and the collection and analysis of qualitative/mixed methods data.

Jenny is a mixed methods behavioural scientist specialising in the development and process evaluation of complex behavioural interventions in obesity prevention/treatment and child/family health and wellbeing.

Her research centres around developing and implementing effective and sustainable health interventions through:

• understanding how systems and individual psychosocial factors affect behaviours and health outcomes
• understanding factors affecting the implementation of health interventions.
