Andre Bedendo, PHIRST REACH Research Fellow
Research Fellow in the Department of Health Sciences, University of York 

Andre Bedendo is a Research Fellow in the Hull York Medical School and the Department of Health Sciences and the Department of Health Sciences at the University of York. He joined the Department of Health Sciences as a Visiting Research Fellow in 2019, returning as a Research Associate in 2021. Before this, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Psychobiology at the Federal University of Sao Paulo (2017–2021).

His research focuses on large epidemiological/public health studies using real-world data through advanced quantitative methods and statistical modelling across health, psychology, and behavioural sciences. He has over a decade of teaching experience and has supervised postgraduate students since 2016.
